How To Make The Law of Attraction More Effective With A Hot Chocolate

This may seem like a really strange title ‘How to make the Law of Attraction more effective with a hot chocolate” but it is true. You may think that I have lost the plot, how can a universal law be made more effective through a hot chocolate? In my case it must be a white hot chocolate but for you it may be different.

Do you want to know how? Of course, you do. Let me start by asking you what are the main components that you need to put in place for the Law of Attraction to be really effective for you? Let me list some of them for you:

  • Determine your goals
  • Turn them into intentions by adding massive detail and emotion
  • Continuously focus on those intentions
  • Be in a constant state of gratitude
  • Expect that the intentions will be delivered to you

How does the white chocolate come into the picture? In the town that I live in we have recently had a Gloria Jean’s coffee shop open up. I don’t drink coffee or tea, I am one of those ’strange’ people and so I for a long time I did not visit the shop. In the last couple of days I met my daughter there after she had finished work on a Saturday afternoon. I was not sure what to have, so I decided to try a white hot chocolate. I was rather decedent and had whipped cream with marshmellows on top. It came to the table and I took a sip. Well it was amazing; that white chocolate immediately warmed me all over and the sweet chocolate just had an incredible taste that immediately affected all of my senses. It may seem a little melodramatic, but it was really a wonderful feeling drinking this hot chocolate.

A Tribute To A Friend & A Legacy Left

June 19, 2008 · Filed Under Family, Health, Law of Attraction · Comment

I wrote in a previous blog post about a very good friend of mine that had been dealt what some might call a ‘bad hand of cards’ - her twins passed away at a young age and her husband has been battling cancer for several years. Well last night he passed away. I write this post as a tribute to my good friend, her husband and son.

Several days ago her husband stated that ‘cancer may kill him, but it will not defeat him’. This was a man that wanted to fight for every minute of every day. I would like to say that this is an atitude that we all should take on board - imagine what you could get out of a day if we did this. It is right to be sad for the loss of a wonderful man, but it is also right to look at the positives from the situation and if thousands of people begin to live their lives cherishing every minute of every day by reading this post - then what a legacy that he has left.

I know that today his family will be grieving, but also relieved that he is no longer in pain.

Regardless of your religious beliefs, I believe that a person’s spirit remains and as long as we keep the memory of them tight within our hearts then they will never be far from us.

The Law of Attraction & An Inspirational Story of Gratitude

I was sent this story as a PowerPoint presentation today by a friend. I thought that it was wonderful and I needed to share it with all of you. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Two men both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room’s only window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roomate all the things he could see outside of the window. The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and colour of the world outside.

The Law of Attraction - Is The Glass Half Empty or Half Full?

June 12, 2008 · Filed Under Law of Attraction, Mindset, Positive Thinking · Comment

How does the common question, “Is the glass half empty or half full?”, relate to the Law of Attraction?

The answer really should be apparent to anyone that follows the Law of Attraction?

Who are you? The man in the suit or the man in the overalls?

As I have said in previous posts the Law of Attraction is very much about perspective. How do you relate to events that happen in your life? Do you always look for the negative in a situation or do you seek a positive perspective? This is the difference between whether the glass is half empty or half full.

The Law of Attraction and Greed

I had to share this story with you all. My wife emailed it to me tonight and I thought it was terrific. I would love to know your thoughts.

A Holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, ‘Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.’ The Lord led the holy man to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man’s mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to
be famished.

They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, ‘You have seen Hell.’
